Welcome!

My name is Rachel and I’m so glad you’re here.

In over 20 years of practice, I’ve found that therapy works best when safety, depth, and movement are all present. So you feel understood, gain clarity, and actually move forward.

  • Safety requires a warm, attuned relationship where you don’t have to perform, explain, or defend yourself.

  • Depth demands that we look beneath symptoms to understand the patterns, history, and the logic behind how you learned to cope.

  • Movement becomes possible when insight is paired with safety and support. Over time, this creates space for new choices that don’t require self-criticism or force to maintain.

What it’s like to work with me.

I’ll be direct with compassion, thoughtful and genuinely curious about you, and engaged - in both the moments when we’re actively talking and also those when we’re simply letting things breathe.

Sessions are conversational and collaborative. We’ll move at a pace that’s both safe and meaningful. You shouldn’t feel hurried nor stagnant.

When it supports our work, I’ll help you find humor and lightness. I don’t want therapy to always feel heavy and hard. Sometimes we just have to laugh at the wild ride it is to be human.
